Parliament is a platform — where leaders can speak for the common person. YS Avinash Reddy made full use of this platform — for Kadapa, for Andhra Pradesh.
What happened to Andhra Pradesh in the 2014 bifurcation — the promise of special category status, fund allocation, infrastructure gap — all these issues were raised by Avinash in Parliament.
On one side he had public sentiment, on the other side data. Avinash gave prepared speeches — with facts, with logic, with emotion. This is the hallmark of a good MP.
Avinash made consistent follow-ups in Parliament for Polavaram dam funds and completion. In every session, he raised it in some form or another.
Railway projects, national highways, education institution approvals — Avinash’s parliamentary record shows he continuously made efforts for the betterment of Kadapa and AP.
Having a strong voice in Parliament is a great asset for a constituency. Kadapa found this asset in the form of Avinash.
