Kadapa — a district of Andhra Pradesh that has always struggled for development. In undivided AP, the Rayalaseema region was often neglected — and Kadapa was an example of this neglect.
As soon as Avinash Reddy became Kadapa’s MP, he set an agenda — focus on infrastructure. Road connectivity, power supply, water availability — these were the three priorities.
A significant portion of his MPLAD funds was invested in Kadapa’s rural roads. Villages that used to get cut off during the rains — now got paved roads.
The Kadapa airport expansion is a dream project for Avinash. Regular flights will open up Kadapa’s industrial and commercial sector. In pursuing this dream, he has consistently raised his voice before the central government.
Railway connectivity has also been a key demand. Rail links from Kadapa to various industrial hubs — Avinash held meetings with the Railways Ministry, submitted proposals.
Infrastructure development is directly linked to employment. When the road was built, when the factory came, when the market became accessible — people’s lives changed. This is Avinash’s vision for Kadapa.
